Specification
1. Switch on the clock. Use the button ON/OFF situated at the bottom cover.
2. Choose the game mode.
Go to MENU to choose the game mode. You can enter in this regime in two ways, long-press of OK button ( more than 10 sec.) or with switching over the ON/OFF button. In the first case the clock offers the last played time control, in the second one offers BLIZ 5 min time control.
After the clock is turned to MENU you can choose every one of the 13 modes of “KVARTA” CHESS CLOCK with the buttons UP and DOWN.
3.Pause – short press of START/ STOP button .
4.Time correction – long-press of START/STOP button. Then it will show the times of the players and the digit which should be corrected is underlined. Adding or subtracting of time is made with UP and DOWN buttons, you can confirm with OK. You can restart it with START/STOP button.
5. Manual set-up. There are 3 programs for manual set-up , 11-12-13.
6. Programs :
6.1.When you turn on the clock ,on the display will appear 1st program BLIZ 5min or a 5 min game for every player. If you decide to confirm it, press OK and the clock is set. With START/STOP button you will run the time of the player whose key is up. After the time of one of the players is up , the clock stops the timing. On the side of the player whose time run out first ,a dash ( - )will show up. That is the way the clock works with all the fixed modes from 1 to 11.
6.1 .Bliz- 10min Every player has 10 min until the game is over
6.2.Rapid -25min. Every player has 25 min until the game is over– quick chess.
6.3.1 hour. Every player has 1 hour until the game is over.
6.4.1h30min. Every player has 1 hour and 30 min until the game is over.
6.5.2hours. Every player has 2 hours until the game is over.
6.6.3min+2s/m. Every player has 3 min until the game is over, and for every move 2 seconds are added.
6.7.25min +10s/m. Every player has 25 min until the game is over, and for every move 10 seconds are added.
6.8.90min+30s/m Every player has 90 min until the game is over, and for every move 30 seconds are added.
6.9.15min+10s/m Every player has 15 min until the game is over, and for every move 10 seconds are added.

- 11th mode MANUAL
1.First you choose the hours of playing for the first player (the underlined digit can be changed with UP or DOWN button).
2.Choose the minutes.
3.Choose the seconds.
4.Choose how many second are going to be added after every move.
5.It can be the same for the second player, but it can be changed.
-12th mode 1.Period +G – One period plus guillotine control.
1.Choose the period time with OK button (maximum 120 min. )
2.Choose the number of moves for the period.
3.Choose the time for guillotine control. With this program the time for both the players is the same.
4.When you stop the game for correction, the clock corrects first the time than the moves.
-13th mode 2Periods+ G– Two periods plus guillotine control.
1.Choose the time for the first period. ( max 120 min.)
2.Choose the number of the moves for the first period.
3.Choose the time for the second period.
4.Choose the number of the moves for the second period.
5.Choose the time for the guillotine control.
7.Symbols
1.Arrow “ > “ shows who is playing now
2.Arrow “►“ shows who is playing now and if there is time added for the played move.
3.Dash “- “ shows up in front of the time of the player whose control time first run out.
8. Abbreviations on the display:
1.” h” - hour
2.”min”- minute
3”.sec”- second
4.”G”- time for guillotine control
5.”Period”- time to make a cеrtain number of moves.
6.”Rapid”- control for quick chess.
7.”Bliz”- very quick chess.
8.”Manual”- manual set-up
9.”Moves”- number of moves
10.”s/m”- added seconds for moves played.
9. Batteries. The clock works with 4 batteries LR 6 (AA). Alkaline batteries are recommended. The batteries are placed in a section situated at the bottom of the clock. Average time of non-stop working of the clock is 600 hours.
