STB Monitor – Set Top Box Remote Control and Monitoring

The STB Monitor is device integrating infrared remote control and HDMI input in order to remotely control and observe set top boxes (STBs) IPTV or OTT receivers. It is entirely web oriented and all video streaming and remote control configuration is integrated into the user friendly web page. The video streaming is with extremly low video latency less than 1s allowing best user experience. The device works standalone and does not require any cloud services.

Kvarta’s DVB Headend is a powerful and professional solution for cable TV operators, IPTV/OTT operators that want to test the user experience at the very end controling and monitoring the whole delivery chain. It could also be used by STB/OTT box manufacturers for automated tests.

With its two gigabit Ethernet interfaces, the STB Monitor can be controlled and configured remotely using the user-friendly embedded web site or an SNMP-Based network management system.

HDMI Switch (16 in hdmi, 1 out hdmi) option allows monitoring/control of up to 16 different STBs. The selected HDMI Switch input HDMI port is configured either from the ethernet or the infrared.
