Encode cameras, players and local channels to UDP, RTP or HLS.
The problem
Why it happens
Local channels, information screens and camera feeds start as HDMI. They need to be on the IP or cable network alongside everything else.
Sounds familiar?
- Local content cannot join the channel line-up
- Consumer encoders that fail under 24/7 use
The KVARTA way
How we solve it
The HDMI to IP Encoder takes dual or quad HDMI inputs up to 3840×2160p30 and encodes them in hardware to HEVC or H.264 with AAC audio. It streams over UDP, RTP or HLS from a fanless 1U unit. Feed the output into the DVB Modulator to put it on coax.
What is checked
- Up to 4K30 input and encode
- HEVC/H.264 hardware encoding
- UDP, RTP and HLS output
- Dual or quad HDMI
