Use case
Transmitter RF power and VSWR monitoring
Forward power, reflected power and VSWR from the transmitter to the antenna.
The problem
Why it happens
A damaged feeder, wet connector or failing antenna raises reflected power and can damage the transmitter. On a remote mast it may go unnoticed until coverage is lost.
Sounds familiar?
- Coverage shrinks without a transmitter alarm
- Reflected power climbs slowly after storms
- No logged data to plan maintenance
The KVARTA way
How we solve it
The RF Power Monitor reads up to 8 external RF probes. It measures forward and reflected power, calculates VSWR, and raises SNMP or e-mail alarms when your limits are crossed. Every alarm is time-stamped and logged to its microSD card.
What is checked
- Forward power
- Reflected power
- VSWR
- Up to 8 probes, logged to microSD
